Social Wellbeing

We understand the importance of Social Wellbeing for the Individuals that reside with us, meaningful occupation and social participation gives us all a purpose in daily life, being in a care home is no different.

By learning about the person and their life history, we can promote and celebrate what's important to them. This can be achieved with; reminiscence conversations, responsibilities and roles in the Home and choice on daily living.

We strive to develop a relationship centred approach with every Individual at the Home because we understand relationships matter, people must feel safe and feel they belong, they must have a purpose and feel they can achieve, and they must feel they matter.

Neuadd Drymmau has its own wheelchair accessible minibus allowing frequent visits to local facilities and regular weekly trips to “Tuesday Club” and “Me, Myself & I” providing the opportunity to meet the social needs of the individuals residing at the Home. This also enables us to offer bespoke privately funded social packages.
